PreferredOne is pleased to sponsor programs supporting improved health for our members:
- Get In Gear - The 32nd Annual Get In Gear 10K, 5K & 2K -- Minnesota's Annual Rite of Spring -- will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2009, beginning at Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis. Get In Gear began in 1978 to provide the Minnesota running community with a large, well-run, early spring fitness event along the Mississippi waterfront. It now attracts more than 6,000 runners and walkers and has earned a national reputation as an extremely organized, enjoyable race. In conjunction with Get In Gear, the Fit For Fun program is dedicated to developing fit and healthy children through the individual enjoyment of running. The six-week fitness program emphasizes training and fun as the key elements of running and culminates with students participating in the Get In Gear 2K.
